My Contacts

Let's talk about my phone today. My very expensive paper weight.

We will start with my contacts. I have 42 contacts in my phone. I have a silly policy that when I go to jail or for some reason have to go to prison I need Matt to know who our support system is, I know, I know. I am sure he will check the phone first off while I am getting hauled off to jail! You are labeled by what you provide for me and my family. The last time I got a new phone the guy at the AT&T store said everything transferred over but all your contacts. When I told him that was all my contacts he couldn't believe it. He said in all his years he had never seen so few contacts.  If your number is in my phone you are part of my core. You are one of the few that I would trust with my family in case of an emergency. Either that or I think you would help bail me out of jail.

Now for the all important news flash. My phone never works. One reason is because it is always dead because I break every charger I have ever owned. It doesn't matter if Matt buys me a $6.00 one at a gas station or a $60.00 one from AT&T, give it a few months and they just stop charging my phone.
Two is the speaker on my phone is always jacked up. As of right now my phone only works on speaker phone. That's the reason I never call anyone. It is really bad when you take your phone to AT&T and they don't even know what is wrong with it. Even so they want to charge you to fix it. By now people know if you can't get me on my phone call Matt's phone. If you don't feel comfortable doing that call me at the Chamber on Wednesday. Third my phone never has service at the house unless I'm laying in Payce's bed or sitting on the corner of Thomas' bed. The truth is I really never have good service anywhere. If I want to get on the internet on my phone I have to sit in the driveway of the house or in bed.

So at this point I imagine you are thinking one of two things. Why does she always have her phone with her? Or what kind of phone does she have? The answers are there is a slim chance it will work and I love to take pictures and my phone is a LG G4.

Since phones have been the thing I have always had problems. I even remember spilling a coke in my bag phone.  In the past Matt bought me a new phone every six months. I have had so many claims that AT&T won't even insure me anymore.

So why all this talk about my phone? Well, Imagine for a minute not being able to use your phone. In fact why don't you just turn your phone off for the next 24 hours and join me in my misery. Life goes on all around me and I feel like I am constantly out of step because my phone is truly hit or miss!! I know life isn't all about a phone but, when it doesn't work it sure makes living life tough! Maybe I should try smoke signals!!
